Wisdom Weekly: Give it away, give it away, give it away ... now.

Issue #2025-40

The Kind that Grows ...

Happy Sunday Reader!

We often share your insights with our community, and this update will keep you informed about how your wisdom is inspiring others.

That's it ...

Over the last stretch of weeks, I’ve been reflecting deeply on what I want Wisdom Weekly to feel like not just for you, but for me.

I realized I don’t want to fill your inbox with links, recaps, or subtle invitations to go somewhere else. I don’t want to play the game of “optimize the list” or “drive to the next action.” Paper Napkin Wisdom has always been about simplicity, clarity, and truth. Something you can hold in your hand like ink on a napkin. So Wisdom Weekly is now an unnewsletter: no links, no promos, no pitch — just one meaningful thought each week.

My promise is this: each issue will stand on its own. No funnels. No next steps. No noise. Just a two-to-three minute read meant to help you recalibrate, refocus, or reframe something in your life or leadership. A small piece of wisdom you can actually carry into your week.

That’s it.

🧠 TL;DR

Gratitude isn’t just something you feel — it grows when you give it away.

This Week’s Wisdom

If I were sitting across from you with a pen and a napkin this week, here’s what I’d write:

“Gratitude grows when you give it away.”

Thanksgiving has a way of reminding us of the good in our lives — people we love, moments we’ve lived, the quiet support we’ve been carried by. But there’s a deeper truth sitting underneath all of that:

Gratitude doesn’t transform your life when you feel it.
It transforms your life when you express it.

There’s a shift that happens the moment you say it out loud.
When you tell someone, “I appreciate you.”
When you acknowledge what they’ve done.
When you speak the thing you normally only think.

It lands.
It changes the room.
It changes you.

Unspoken gratitude is a missed opportunity: for connection, for healing, for strengthening a relationship you care about. One sentence of acknowledgment can soften something that’s been hard, or deepen something that’s been meaningful for a long time.

And the truth is: most people in your life hear far less appreciation than they deserve. You hear far less appreciation than you deserve.

Here's the fix.

This week, you don’t need a grand gesture.
You don’t need the perfect toast or the perfectly timed moment.

Just choose one person.
One sentence.
One expression of gratitude that’s been sitting quietly inside you.

Say it.
Give it away.

You’ll be surprised at how quickly it comes back to you — in presence, in warmth, in connection, and in a deeper sense of who you want to be.

Gratitude isn’t meant to stay inside you.

It grows when you give it away.

Make it a great week,

Govindh

Issue #2025-42 This makes you strong ... Happy Sunday Reader! We often share your insights with our community, and this update will keep you informed about how your wisdom is inspiring others. Over time, I’ve learned that clarity doesn’t come from adding more — it comes from removing what isn’t needed. Wisdom Weekly is meant to be simple. One thought. One pause. Something you can read quickly and carry with you, without being asked to click, buy, or go anywhere else. So each week, I’m sharing...

Thank yourself ... for being you.

Issue #2025-41 Thank yourself ... Happy Sunday Reader! We often share your insights with our community, and this update will keep you informed about how your wisdom is inspiring others. Calvin Cordozar Broadus said it ... Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reshaping Wisdom Weekly into something simpler and more honest — an unnewsletter. No links, no promos, no “here’s what you missed.” Just one idea each week that stands fully on its own. Something you can read in under three minutes, carry...

You can take a step. Just one, today.

Issue #2025-39 The New Wisdom Weekly - no links, no funnel, no clutter, the UN-newsletter Happy Sunday Reader! We often share your insights with our community, and this update will keep you informed about how your wisdom is inspiring others. Keeping it Up Like I shared last week ... I’ve been rethinking what I want Wisdom Weekly to be. I realized I don’t want to send another email full of links, recaps, summaries, or gentle nudges toward marketing. There’s enough of that out there already....
